Price: 135 € p/ paxIn this activity the participants will enjoy a unique and exclusive tour in one of the most beautiful islands & unique pure Fishermen community in Portugal.
Starting the Tour in Olhão we will start in the local market and one of the most unique ones in the quality and diversity of fish and fresh vegetables. We will walk on the local streets where the local artists painted some of the traditions and history of the Fishermen and local community. Before we get the boat to the island we will stop at the only Portuguese Canned brand to buy some of the canned products produced in the Algarve. Ready for a boat tour in the beautiful Formosa Natural Park? Let’s go! We will meet the fisherman at the harbor and start our journey with a fantastic view over Olhão city, the fishermen picking their seafood and breathing the pure air of this natural sanctuary.
Arriving to Culatra you will meet the Seafood workers explaining how the job is done and how to do it in the correct way without damaging the wildlife or the soil.
We will also meet Silvia. The president of this community and the lady that sets the rules, changed the habits for a cleaner island, plastic free and where the local kids & elders are a priority and how their stories were important to keep this place away of AirBnB’s and the mass tourism.
